Hello El Moochadores! The other day I recorded an conversation/interview with Ugli Studio creator Jason Lenox for and upcoming Moocast, but my time is incredible short these days, so I wanted to post about some of the news and announcements we discussed while I continue to work on the latest episode (coming soon). A lot is going on with Lenox and his comic, Lords of the Cosmos. A few weeks ago I posted about the LotC comic’s Kickstarter and now it has hit it’s goal! However, there is still time (about 8 days as of this post) to contribute and get in on some really cool rewards. One of which includes a custom sculpture of one of the LotC characters by artist Erich Adie. I kind of feel bad, because when I posted about this a couple of weeks ago, I forgot the sculptures which, in or out of their packages, look frigg’n amazing! Check out some images below!
Nittany Con!
Also, Lenox is now running his own convention! Nittany Con is happening this month on September 25th at State College (which, I think is a town), Pennsylvania. Tickets are only $5.00 and kids 5 and under are free. Way cool! Lenox will be there along with a bunch of other comic creators to show off their creative works! Hit the link above for more information about guests and events, but if you’re in the area, swing on in and support a con that’s actually about comic books!
I’ve posted the promo video for the LotC Kickstarter below along with a couple of sample images, and images of the custom sculpts, pulled from the KS page. Check it out and support a cool indie comic project! Also, check back sometime this week for Atomic Moocast #121, where we’ll have our discussion with Lenox and all the cool happenings!
Enjoy!
